Woodbine’s history of commercial and industrial development goes back nearly five decades in partnership with the Hunt family. Woodbine’s first major industrial park development, Valwood Industrial Park, is located at the northwest corner of I-635 and I-35E and originally encompassed approximately 400-acres. Valwood is now the 3rd largest industrial park in the metroplex and has grown to include over 2,200 acres. Woodbine’s role in developing Valwood began back in 1979 and the last land sale took place in 1995.
